Bowie Knife Apocalypse
Desconto para segunda compra
The Bowie knife is a traditional knife model that has proven itself in everything from civil wars to duels. The Bowie is a knife that can be used for a wide range of purposes: hunting and butchering small to large animals, field work such as chopping wood, preparing food such as barbecues, carving, throwing and finally fighting. A Bowie knife cuts like a cleaver and stabs like a dagger. It is without a doubt the most complete type of knife you can have available. And this one is no different. The first model, made in 2013, with a 22cm(8") blade made of nearly indestructible 6150 steel, is the knife that accompanies me on all my adventures away from the city. With a full tang structure and a simple U-shaped brass guard, it is a relatively light knife (350g/0.5lbs)) and is less than 3.5mm(0.13") thick. This choice was a way to make it more comfortable for prolonged use, which worked very well together with the standard Southern Comfort sheath, which, as the name suggests, is comfortable to use and even concealed (!). The detail that often goes unnoticed is the sharp counter-edge, not a false edge, it is sharpened to provide the Bowie's specific movement in combat: the Snap Cut, which consists in a simple "fishing" movement performed with the blade that allows you to hit your opponent's limbs at a surprise angle. If you are looking for a knife that will last a lifetime and cover all types of tasks, a Bowie is the one you need.
